Kathryn Ann Washington Jericho Road’s 15th Anniversary Fundraising Event

As a proud Board Member of Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative, I invite you to join me in celebrating our 15th Year Anniversary by contributing to our “15 for 15” Board Challenge Fundraising event. My goal is to recruit 15 new donors, representing each year that Jericho Road has impacted the lives of low-income and working families in Southeast Louisiana. Jericho Road has primarily focused its work in developing affordable homes, and providing workforce development and financial education programs for low-income and working families.

To honor our families and the communities we serve, Jericho Road is launching an Affordable Housing Equity Fund. This Fund will provide resources to low-income and working future hombuyers and homeowners. Because of the many challenges that working families face during their homebuying process, it’s a difficult path to get to the closing table. The Fund will help to mitigate many of those challenges, like providing closing costs and down payment assistance. Also, the Fund will provide resources for home improvement projects for seniors who often have financial hardships in their retirement years while living on a fixed income. This Fund will actively serve as a resource to seniors to allow them to age in place in healthy and energy-efficient affordable homes. Jericho Road is working to provide opportunities for families to create generational wealth for themselves. As we continue to celebrate our 15th Year Anniversary, I invite you to partner with us by contributing to the Affordable Housing Equity Fund.
